| A Season of Surprises at the Villa des Violettes by Patricia Sands |
The latest release by Patricia Sands, A Season of Surprises at the Villa des Violettes, brings back the characters from her bestselling Love in Provence series to celebrate spring on the sunny Cote d'Azur. I've come to think of these characters as friends and I'm delighted to join them once again on a virtual French vacation.
Patricia's books come alive with vivid imagery of the scenery, food and culture of Provence and the latest instalment is no exception, introducing me this time to the nearby island of Corsica and the Route du Mimosa, Mimosa Route, where fragrant yellow blooms signal the approach of springtime in the South of France.
The first book in the series of three Villa des Violettes novellas is The First Nöel at the Villa des Violettes. I eagerly await the next book, expected in November 2019.
