Letters from Paris by Juliet Blackwell |
It's time to share some exciting news – I'm going to Paris in the spring! So naturally I've been drawn to the many books on my shelf that are set in the beautiful French capital. Letters from Paris by Juliet Blackwell is "the story of a mysterious work of art and the woman inspired to uncover its history in the City of Light".
In this story Claire Broussard travels to Paris in search of the mask-making atelier where an object known as "The Unknown Woman" was made. While there she visits the Musée Rodin and sees two of the sculptor's most famous works, The Kiss and The Thinker. I first toured the museum in 1981 and can't wait to see it again when I visit Paris in June.

I also enjoyed another book by Blackwell, The Paris Key, so I'm looking forward to reading her most recent novel, The Lost Carousel of Provence.
