The Girl in the Glass by Susan Meissner |
This week I'm reading The Girl in the Glass by American author Susan Meissner and the story is set in Florence, Italy. The novel has dual timelines, the present and Renaissance times.
The third page mentions two great pieces of art from the Renaissance: Michelangelo's sculpture of David and Botticelli's painting, Primavera. My first glimpse of David standing alone in an alcove is one of my most memorable travel moments and I'm hoping more art will be featured in the story.

Do you like books written with dual timelines?
