The Tibetan Peace Garden was opened by His Holiness the Dalai Lama in May 1999. |
The Language Pillar carries the Dalai Lama's message of peace and harmony in four languages: Tibetan, English, Chinese and Hindi. |

At the centre of the garden, a bronze cast of the Kalachakra Mandala is set into black Kilkenny limestone. The sculpture in the background portrays the element of Earth. |
