I’ve never been much of a car person but I
must admit there are some pretty incredible automobiles on the streets of
Europe. These aren’t just any old vehicles but iconic sports models like Ferrari, Lamborghini and McLaren. I thought I’d share some photos of these cars in honour of
Father’s Day on Sunday.

Within hours of landing at Heathrow I spotted
this silver model not far from Trafalgar Square.
I’m not sure what kind of car it is but it certainly attracted the attention of
passersby. It must have been in London for the 2010 Gumball 3000 Rally.

Nothing beats the French Riviera for luxury
cars. I was there just before the Monaco Grand Prix, which takes place in May every year. This trio of sporty cars drove past while we were enjoying
lunch near the port of Nice. Maybe they were on their way
to Monte Carlo for the race.

At night, Place du Casino in Monte Carlo
becomes a magnet for luxury cars. I noted a Porsche, a Rolls Royce and a Maserati among the vehicles parked
in front of the casino and nearby Hotel de Paris.

My tour of Monaco in a Ferrari fulfilled an
experience on my bucket list. I got behind the wheel for photos but let them do the driving so I could sit back and
enjoy the Cote d’Azur scenery.

And finally, while passing through the airport in Frankfurt I came across this bright orange McLaren, offered as a prize in a contest.

Happy Father’s Day to all the Dads out
there!
